Sometimes, I read scripture, then just bullet point out the statements. My mind recalls and memorizes scripture better this way with short statements. Memorize scripture to speak out loud moment by moment and especially when life gets hard. When quarantine/stay at home orders/isolation season is driving you nuts…Or you’re out of work…Or working on the healthcare or service industry frontline… Remind yourself who God is and what He will do for you.
- Do not be afraid
- I am with you right now
- You will not drown or perish
- Remember what I’ve done for you
- Reminder – I alone am God
- Nothing else is
- I’m taking it away right now
- are you removing every distraction and idol from us? (my thoughts during this COVID19 crisis)
- No one or nothing else is like me
- I’ve saved you in the past, I’ll do it again
- I told you I would and I did
- No one can reverse my actions or come close to me
- I made a dry path on a sea bed (Exodus 15)
- Nothing compared to what I’m going to do!
- I’ll make a way for people to come back to me
- My thoughts – is this now? Is COVID19 the pathway for people to come back to him?
- You haven’t been coming to me and bringing your usual praise and gifts and sacrifices – you’ve just been bringing me worry and sins to forgive.
- I still forgive everyone of them and blot it out
